A video is simply a series of pictures stitched together to display in succession. Measured in frames per second (fpr), frame rate is the number of picture frames stitched together to make a video. The more action on camera, the more frames to make it as smooth as possible for viewers.
For example: Most digital videos use 30 fps; however, sports and other fast-paced videos often use 60 fps.
